Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission to Khasanah Ilmu - Jurnal Pariwisata Dan Budaya

All manuscript submissions must be made through the Open Journal System (OJS).

Authors will be notified of the review results—whether the manuscript is accepted, requires revision, or is rejected—via email. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted through the OJS platform.

Author Guidelines & Online Submission

To submit a manuscript or access full articles as a reader, visitors must first register by creating a username and password, then complete their profile on the Khasanah Ilmu - Jurnal Pariwisata Dan Budaya website.

Accessing the Journal

  • Login is required for both readers who wish to download full-text articles in PDF format and authors who want to submit or track the status of their manuscripts.

  • If you simply wish to browse published content, you can do so via the "Look" or "Archives" menu.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Khasanah Ilmu - Jurnal Pariwisata Dan Budaya adopts an open access policy under the following conditions:

a. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
This license allows others to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial use, as long as proper attribution is given and any derivative works are shared under the same license.

b. Non-exclusive Distribution Agreements
Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of record (e.g., by depositing it in an institutional repository or including it in a book), provided that the original publication in this journal is acknowledged.

c. Preprint and Online Sharing
Authors are allowed and encouraged to share their work online (e.g., via institutional repositories or personal websites) before and during submission.
Such practices can foster beneficial academic exchanges and may lead to earlier and increased citations of published work (see the Open Access Effect).
