CO-SCIENCE is digitally preserved to ensure long-term accessibility and integrity of its content through participation in global preservation initiatives:

• 🟢 LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) Our journal content is stored and distributed across a decentralized network of partner libraries via the LOCKSS Publisher Manifest. This system maintains multiple validated copies to safeguard against data loss and ensure permanent access.

• 🔵 CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) CO-SCIENCE is also preserved through the CLOCKSS archive — a trusted scholarly preservation service that guarantees content availability in the event of publisher discontinuation or platform failure. CLOCKSS activates “trigger events” to release content if it becomes unavailable elsewhere.

These archiving mechanisms reinforce our commitment to open access, data integrity, and global scholarly reliability, aligned with best practices recognized by leading indexing databases.
