Every manuscript submitted to the editorial office will first undergo an initial review by the Editorial Board. Manuscripts that pass this stage will be sent to peer reviewers for further evaluation using a double-blind peer review process. After the review process is completed, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision, if necessary. The entire review process may take up to two months. Each manuscript will be assessed by peer reviewers based on both substantive and technical aspects. Reviewers collaborating with JUSTIKA Journal are experts in their respective fields. Reviewer recruitment is based on academic qualifications and publication experience. Reviewers are expected to have published at least one scientific article as the first author or to have contributed as a co-author to at least three articles published in accredited national journals or international scientific journals.
All submitted manuscripts will be screened by the Editorial Board. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s scope, quality standards, or submission requirements may be rejected without external review. Manuscripts considered relevant and valuable to readers will be sent to reviewers through a double-blind peer review process. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide that the manuscript is:
Rejected
Accepted with revisions
Accepted for publication
The editor has the final authority to determine which manuscripts are eligible for publication.
The author submits the manuscript through the journal’s online submission system.
The editor conducts an initial review of the manuscript.
At this stage, the manuscript may be rejected or returned to the author before being sent for peer review. Manuscripts that do not match the scope of JUSTIKA Journal or do not follow the journal’s author guidelines will be returned or rejected.
Manuscripts that meet the journal’s scope and formatting requirements will be assigned to reviewers.
The review process is conducted using a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both the author and the reviewers are concealed.
Each manuscript is reviewed by two reviewers. If the reviewers provide significantly different recommendations, the manuscript may be sent to an additional reviewer.
The maximum review period is two months.
The editor makes the final decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations.
The decision and review results are communicated to the author.
