Perancangan Aplikasi Ujian Online Berbasis Web untuk Mendukung Integritas Ujian pada Sekolah Menengah

Transformasi digital di bidang pendidikan mendorong kebutuhan inovasi dalam pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran. Salah satu tantangan dalam penyelenggaraan ujian online adalah menjaga integritas ujian tanpa mengurangi efisiensi proses evaluasi. Objek penelitian ini adalah SMPN 3 Depok yang sebelumnya memanfaatkan Google Form sebagai media ujian, namun masih memiliki keterbatasan pada aspek keamanan dan pencegahan kecurangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang aplikasi ujian online berbasis web untuk mendukung integritas ujian pada sekolah menengah melalui integrasi mekanisme pengacakan soal dan deteksi perpindahan tab sebagai upaya meminimalkan potensi kecurangan. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan framework Laravel dengan pendekatan prototype untuk menghasilkan aplikasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Aplikasi mengintegrasikan fitur pengacakan soal, deteksi perpindahan tab, koreksi otomatis, dan penyajian hasil ujian secara real-time untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan efisiensi pelaksanaan ujian. Pengujian menggunakan metode black box testing menunjukkan seluruh fungsionalitas berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu mendukung pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran yang lebih aman dan efisien dibandingkan sistem sebelumnya, khususnya dalam mengurangi peluang kecurangan, mempercepat proses penilaian, serta mempermudah akses terhadap hasil ujian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi mekanisme pengacakan soal dan deteksi kecurangan berpotensi menjadi alternatif dalam pengembangan sistem ujian digital pada sekolah menengah.
Digital transformation in education has increased the demand for innovation in learning assessment. One of the main challenges in online examinations is maintaining exam integrity without compromising the efficiency of the assessment process. This study was conducted at SMPN 3 Depok, which previously used Google Forms as an online examination platform but faced limitations in terms of security and cheating prevention. The aim of this study is to design a web-based online examination application to support examination integrity in secondary schools by integrating question randomization and tab-switch detection mechanisms to minimize the potential for academic dishonesty. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with the prototype development approach to ensure that the application meets user requirements. The application integrates question randomization, tab-switch detection, automatic grading, and real-time result reporting to support a more secure and efficient examination process. System functionality was evaluated using black-box testing, and the results showed that all system functions operated as expected. The findings indicate that the proposed application supports a more secure and efficient learning assessment process than the previous system by providing mechanisms to reduce opportunities for cheating, accelerate the grading process, and facilitate timely access to examination results. These findings suggest that integrating question randomization and cheating detection mechanisms offers a promising alternative for the development of digital examination systems in secondary schools.
