Duties of Editors

Publication Decisions

The Editor-in-Chief and editorial board are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published. Editorial decisions are based on the importance, originality, clarity, and relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s scope, as well as reviewer recommendations.

Fair Play

Editors evaluate manuscripts based solely on their intellectual content without discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality

Editors must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial board members, and the publisher.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Editors must not use unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript for their own research without the author’s written consent.

Duties of Reviewers

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and helps authors improve the quality of their manuscripts. The journal applies a blind peer-review process.

Promptness

Reviewers should complete their reviews within the agreed time frame. If a reviewer cannot review the manuscript promptly, they should inform the editor.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and must not be shared with others.

Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate, and reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

Acknowledgement of Sources

Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors and notify the editor if substantial similarity or overlap exists.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Reviewers should not evaluate manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with the authors or institutions involved.

Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards

Authors must present accurate data and objective discussion of the research performed. The manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to allow others to replicate the work.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original. If the work or words of others are used, they must be appropriately cited.
All manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using Turnitin software before publication.

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authors should not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal.

Acknowledgement of Sources

Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that influenced their research.

Authorship of the Paper

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research. All co-authors should approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their research.
