Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah website katalog hijab yang dapat membantu UMKM di Cicalengka dalam memasarkan dan meningkatkan penjualan produk hijab mereka. Dalam penelitian ini, metode waterfall diterapkan mulai dari analisis kebutuhan sistem, desain, pengkodean, hingga pengujian. Framework Laravel digunakan untuk mengembangkan platform yang menyediakan fitur-fitur yang memudahkan pengguna dalam mengelola toko online mereka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa website katalog hijab yang dibangun dapat membantu UMKM hijab di Cicalengka untuk lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat luas dan meningkatkan penjualan produk mereka. Selain itu, platform ini memberikan solusi bagi UMKM dalam mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi di marketplace, seperti biaya iklan yang tinggi dan persaingan dengan produk serupa. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model platform yang dikembangkan dapat diterapkan di wilayah lain untuk memberdayakan UMKM dan memperluas jangkauan pemasaran mereka secara digital, sehingga meningkatkan daya saing usaha kecil di era ekonomi digital.
This research aims to design and develop a hijab catalog website that can help MSMEs in Cicalengka in marketing and increasing sales of their hijab products. In this research, the waterfall method is applied starting from system requirements analysis, design, coding, to testing. The Laravel framework is used to develop a platform that provides features that make it easier for users to manage their online stores.
The results of this research show that the hijab catalog website that was built can help hijab MSMEs in Cicalengka to become better known to the wider community and increase sales of their products. Apart from that, this platform provides solutions for MSMEs in overcoming obstacles faced in the marketplace, such as high advertising costs and competition with similar products. The practical implication of this research is that the platform model developed can be applied in other regions to empower MSMEs and expand their marketing reach digitally, thereby increasing the competitiveness of small businesses in the digital economy era.
