Perancangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Edugame Android pada Materi Mufradat Tingkat MTs

Rendahnya penguasaan mufradat Bahasa Arab pada siswa MTs Persis Sindangkasih masih menjadi permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan metode konvensional serta keterbatasan media pembelajaran digital yang menarik dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis edugame Android pada materi mufradat Bahasa Arab. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan tahapan pengembangan yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan Adobe Animate dan ActionScript 3.0, dirancang untuk digunakan secara offline pada perangkat Android. Pengujian sistem dilakukan melalui white box dan black box testing untuk memastikan fungsi dan struktur aplikasi berjalan dengan baik. Evaluasi kelayakan media melibatkan validasi ahli materi, ahli media, serta angket respon siswa. Efektivitas media diuji melalui perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berada pada kategori sangat layak dan terbukti efektif meningkatkan penguasaan mufradat siswa secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, edugame Android ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di tingkat madrasah tsanawiyah.
The low level of Arabic vocabulary (mufradat) mastery among students of MTs Persis Sindangkasih remains a challenge in the learning process. This condition is influenced by the continued use of conventional teaching methods and the limited availability of engaging digital learning media that align with students’ characteristics. This study aims to design and develop an interactive learning medium based on an Android edugame for Arabic mufradat instruction. The research employed a Research and Development approach with development stages consisting of needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The application was developed using Adobe Animate and ActionScript 3.0 and was designed to operate offline on Android devices. System testing was conducted through white-box and black-box testing to ensure proper functionality and program structure. Media feasibility was evaluated through validation by subject matter experts and media experts, as well as student response questionnaires. The effectiveness of the media was examined by comparing pre-test and post-test results using a t-test. The findings indicate that the developed learning media are categorized as highly feasible and proven to significantly improve students’ mufradat mastery. Therefore, this Android-based edugame can be utilized as a supporting learning medium for Arabic language instruction at the madrasah tsanawiyah level.
