A Systematic Literature Review on Communication In Health Using Narrative Theory

Artikel ini disusun untuk mengetahui penggunaan Narrative Theory pada konteks komunikasi kesehatan saat ini. Pertanyaan utama yang dibahas adalah bagaimana penerapan Narrative Theory pada konteks komunikasi kesehatan dalam empat tahun terakhir. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis systematic literature review dilakukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Narrative Theory dalam konteks kesehatan dianggap berfungsi efektif untuk mencegah penyakit. Hal ini dikarenakan penyampaian dengan narasi ini lebih mudah diingat orang. Selain itu, narasi juga digunakan untuk membantu proses penyembuhan dengan menempatkan narasi sebagai sebuah wadah untuk meluapkan perasaan seseorang. Narasi juga dianggap memotivasi dalam mengelola emosi untuk kesembuhan. Penggunaan narasi dalam proses penyembuhan pasien tidak berdiri sendiri, tapi digunakan menjadi komplementer dalam proses penyembuhan, di samping pengobatan dan terapi fisik. Saat ini, narasi sudah dapat termediasi secara digital. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, diperlukannya penelitian dan arahan lebih dalam kedepannya terkait komunikasi dalam konteks kesehatan menggunakan Narrative Theory
