Peer Review Process
Ecodemica Journal: Journal of Economics, Management, and Business is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the fields of Economics, Management, and Business, published online by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Bina Sarana Informatika University.
All manuscripts submitted to ecodemica must go through an online submission process through the Open Journal System (OJS). Each manuscript will go through a double-blind peer review process, which means that both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other during the evaluation.
Each manuscript will be reviewed by three or two reviewers; if the results of the assessment are unbalanced, it will be submitted to an additional reviewer. who is an expert in the relevant field. The review process is conducted through the Open Journal System (OJS), and the results - acceptance, revision, or rejection - will be provided to the authors.
The maximum time given for the peer review process is two (2) months from the date of manuscript submission.
Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers' comments and submit the revised version via the OJS platform within the specified deadline. The Editor-in-Chief will make the final publication decision based on the recommendations of the reviewers and the editorial board.
Peer Review Timeline

Step 1: Submission
Authors submit their manuscript to the journal system. -
Step 2: Initial Editorial Review (1–3 Weeks)
The editor assesses the manuscript for scope, quality, and originality before sending it to peer reviewers. -
Step 3: Peer Review (3–4 Weeks)
The manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. -
Step 4: Editorial Decision Post-Review (2 Weeks)
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
• Rejected
• Major Revision
• Minor Revision -
Step 5: Author Revision (2–3 Weeks)
The author revises the manuscript according to reviewer feedback and resubmits it. -
Step 6: Final Editorial Decision (2 Weeks)
The editor issues a final decision. If accepted, a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will be provided. -
Step 7: Production (1–2 Weeks)
The manuscript enters the layout and proofreading stage. -
Step 8: Online Publication
The final version of the manuscript is published online.
Editorial Decision Categories
After peer review, the editorial decision will fall into one of the following categories, based on reviewers’ recommendations:

Accept Submission:
The manuscript is accepted without the need for revisions. -
Revisions Required:
Minor revisions are needed before the manuscript can be accepted. -
Resubmit for Review:
Substantial revisions are required. A revised version must undergo a second round of peer review. -
Decline Submission:
The manuscript is not suitable for publication in this journal.
