Analisis Kinerja Sistem Informasi Persediaan Barang PT. SBID Menggunakan Metode PIECES Framework

Abstract

Persediaan barang merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam operasional perusahaan, terutama pada perusahaan manufaktur dan distribusi. Permasalahan utama yang perlu dibahas adalah seberapa akurat informasi persediaan yang dihasilkan oleh sistem Accurate 5 Deluxe. Salah satu tujuan analisis ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana sistem informasi persediaan mampu mendukung efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional perusahaan, khususnya dalam pengelolaan data stok, distribusi barang, serta pembuatan laporan persediaan. Analisis ini menggunakan metode PIECES Framework, yaitu kerangka yang digunakan untuk memetakan suatu masalah ataupun peluang pengembangan dalam suatu sistem. PIECES adalah singkatan dari Performance, Information, Economics, Control and Security, Efficiency, dan Service. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja sistem informasi berada pada kategori baik, dengan nilai Performance 4,16, Information and Data 4,19, Economics 4,12, Control and Security 4,27, Efficiency 4,27, Service 4,22. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan untuk pengembangan analisis lebih lanjut, khususnya pada sistem informasi persediaan barang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode analisis PIECES Framework. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang.

Inventory is one of the essential components in company operations, particularly in manufacturing and distribution companies. The main problem addressed in this study is the accuracy of inventory information generated by the Accurate 5 Deluxe system. One of the objectives of this analysis is to determine the extent to which the inventory information system supports the effectiveness and efficiency of company operations, especially in managing stock data, goods distribution, and generating inventory reports. This analysis uses the PIECES Framework method, which is a framework for identifying problems and opportunities for system development. PIECES stands for Performance, Information, Economics, Control and Security, Efficiency, and Service. The results of this study indicate that the performance of the information system is categorized as good, with scores of Performance 4.16, Information and Data 4.19, Economics 4.12, Control and Security 4.27, Efficiency 4.27, and Service 4.22. This study is expected to serve as a reference for further analysis and development, particularly in inventory information systems.
