Perkembangan teknologi mobile semakin pesat, namun fragmentasi platform seperti Android dan iOS membuat pengembangan aplikasi menjadi lebih kompleks dan memakan waktu. Pengembangan aplikasi cross-platform muncul sebagai solusi untuk mengurangi biaya dan waktu pengembangan, sambil tetap mempertahankan performa dan pengalaman pengguna yang baik. Artikel ini melakukan analisis literatur terhadap berbagai framework cross-platform populer, seperti Flutter, React Native, dan Xamarin, dengan meninjau publikasi ilmiah dari tahun 2015 hingga 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka sistematis, mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan membandingkan kelebihan, kekurangan, serta tren penggunaan masing-masing framework. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa Flutter dan React Native menjadi pilihan dominan karena kemudahan pengembangan, performa mendekati native, dan komunitas yang aktif. Namun, tantangan masih ada pada integrasi fitur-fitur native tertentu dan optimasi performa pada aplikasi berskala besar. Artikel ini memberikan panduan ilmiah bagi pengembang dan peneliti untuk memahami tren terkini dalam pengembangan aplikasi mobile cross-platform serta membuka peluang penelitian lebih lanjut dalam optimasi performa dan pengembangan framework baru.
