Abstract

The role of technology in the current Digitalization Era allows Village Governments to develop the effectiveness of the public services provided by improving administrative processes, communication and service delivery to the community. One example of technological innovation is the WhatsApp Business application. This application can be used to communicate directly with residents so that the delivery of information is faster and more effective. In line with this, the proposer and partners agreed to hold community service activities by providing training on the use of the WhatsApp Business Application for Village Officials in an effort to improve public services. This activity was carried out over 2 days using a method that involved the active participation of participants through intensive training sessions and interactive tutorials. The results of the activity showed that the majority of aspects evaluated in the questionnaire were assessed positively by the participants so that they could be declared successful in increasing their insight and skills, especially in utilizing digital technology for public services.
