Pelatihan Keamanan Siber Guna Meningkatkan Literasi Digital di SMPN 14 Kota Madiun

Abstract

Information technology in its development can have a positive impact, but it can also have a negative impact. The high number of cases of cybercrime, known as cyberspace, is a real threat. Preventive efforts are needed to minimize this risk, including through cyber security training. This community service activity is carried out by providing direct assistance to students, namely using the Participatory Action Research method. The aim of this training is to improve digital literacy skills with a focus on material regarding cyber security in the school environment, especially SMPN 14 Madiun City. The results of this activity show that the students or students were very enthusiastic about participating in the training. Their digital literacy skills regarding cyber security can be further improved by utilizing learning media which contains educational content regarding the security of email and gadget use, password security, social media use, digital transaction security, and personal data security.
