Abstract

Sales is one of the important business activities carried out by companies to be able to earn a profit which is the goal of most companies. To be able to carry out sales activities properly, every company needs to have a good and controlled information system with a clear flow. Good management of data and information is needed by the management to facilitate decision making and policy steps needed for the survival of the company. Advances in technology have led to the emergence of new products that can improve organizational performance, one of which is an accounting information system. The function of the accounting information system is to collect and store data about the activities carried out by the organization, to transform the data into useful information for management, namely in the form of accounting and financial information, and to provide adequate controls to safeguard the organization'sassets. Accounting information systems are useful for monitoring organizational activities that can be used to determine how well an organization is performing. Effective accounting is very important for the long-term success of an organization. PT. Roda Pratama Asia is a company engaged in the trading of motorcycle spare parts under the Gajah Tunggal brand in Kapuk, West Jakarta. From the information above, a system is made that makes it easy for both sellers and buyers or consumers, making it easier for sellers here is that sellers can market these products to a web-based sales system and storage of sales data will be safe from damage or loss because the sales data is stored using If the database is needed, it will be easy to find again, making it easier for buyers or consumers here, where consumers can access the products and details offered by the seller without having to come directly. For the system development method using the System Development Lyfe Cycle (SDLC). Based on the results of research with the design of this information system, it can facilitate the dissemination of information about the latest products and facilitate the processing of sales transaction data and can overcome problems if an error occurs in product ordering.
